She offers full-scope midwifery services, including obstetric care, well-woman visits, and contraception counseling, and specializes in empowering patients through education and personalized care.
Yanfang holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a dual focus in Nurse-Midwifery and Family Practice from Emory University. Her clinical experience spans hospitals, birth centers, and underserved communities, where she provided comprehensive care across the lifespan. Fluent in Mandarin, Yanfang is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for her patients.
Passionate about midwifery, Yanfang was drawn to the profession because it allows her to care for women throughout their reproductive and menopausal years. She believes in delivering women-centered care and providing the education women need to make informed decisions about their health. She particularly enjoys working with obstetric patients, as well as providing guidance during annual wellness exams and birth control consultations to improve overall health and wellness.
Outside of work, Yanfang enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two-year-old child. She is also committed to giving back and has volunteered at free medical clinics and Chinese primary care clinics, where she served as a medical assistant.
