Have you met Dr. Susan Verleger? Many of you have and give her rave reviews! She is fresh, well-educated, excited and fits right in to the personable Nile Women’s Health Care culture. Since coming on board in September, 2014, she has had an opportunity to meet several current clients and introduce new people to the practice. Dr. V, as many fond clients call her, has been a welcome addition to the group.
As part of the Nile team, Dr. V will provide the same standard of care as the other practitioners but her specialty is with the da Vinci robot. Dr. Verleger is highly-skilled in gyn robotic surgery and will offer Nile clientele the minimally invasive surgical method for hysterectomy, myomectomy and endometriosis.
Doctor Susan Verleger is a native of Helen, Georgia, and has recently relocated to the area after training in Albany, NY.
Dr. Verleger realized early in her training at the Medical College of Georgia that there is a need for compassionate care for women by women, and she has been striving ever since to fill that void with her practice. From traveling to the Andes mountains to provide care to the indigent women there, to her work to raise HIV awareness in her own community, Dr. Verleger has worked to care for women of all lifestyles.
